2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. \u201cAmerican Dream Deferred\u201d<\/em> is an original musical revue exploring American hopes and dreams, fears and frustrations, tears, joy, and rage. Through musical theater pieces, rock\/pop songs, and protest anthems, we examine where the American dream has fallen short\u2013and we share our hope that one day we will all be able to live our dreams. Likely songs include West Side Story\u2019s \u201cAmerica,\u201d Irving Berlin\u2019s \u201cGive Me Your Tired, Your Poor,\u201d and Suffs\u2019 \u201cKeep Marching,\u201d along with songs from Hairspray, In the Heights, Rent, Ragtime, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
