WHERE<\/strong>: Palisades HUB, 5200 Cathedral Ave. NW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Sides of Love: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Jimmy Webb.<\/strong> The music of Joni Mitchell and Jimmy Web remains a testament to a pivotal era in singer-songwriter music, where personal authenticity and lyrical innovation reshaped the landscape of music and the American music scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Q: The Music of Quincy Jones.<\/strong> From big band to bebop, R&B to hip-hop, classical to pop, rhythm and blues to delta blues, or jazz. Jones was an early adopter and innovator with a career that spanned more than seven decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may audition for both or just one cabaret. Each cabaret will feature two casts of approximately 6 people in a small, intimate production in the Fireside Room at River Road Unitarian Universalist Church in Bethesda, MD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PERFORMANCES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Sides of Love: The Songs of Joni Mitchell and Jimmy Webb<\/em> will take place on October 23 and 24. Familiar songs from Mitchell\u2019s Circle Song to Webb\u2019s Up, Up and Away span the depth of their music.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: The Music of Quincy Jones<\/em> will take place on December 4 and 5. Songs will be included from many parts of his life including record, film, and television producer, composer, arranger, trumpeter, and bandleader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
